Lockers

Locking a Locker

Once you've put your stuff in the locker:

  • Close the door.
  • Turn the lock knob so the arrow is pointing up at the image of the open lock.

  • Turn the numbered dials to set a 3 digit combination.
    • Note: making the three digits all the same, like 111, may be easy for you to remember, but it's also easy for thieves to figure out. Use a random combination.
  • Turn the lock knob to the left so the arrow is pointing at the closed lock.

  • Turn the numbered dials to secure the lock.
  • Double check to make sure the locker is really locked.
  • Remember the locker number and combination!

Unlocking a Locker

  • Turn the numbered dials to the combination you set when you locked the locker.
  • Turn the lock knob so the arrow is pointing up at the image of the open lock.
  • Open the door.
  • Remove ALL your stuff.
  • Leave the lock knob in the unlocked position for the next user.
  • Turn the numbered dials to scramble the lock.

When you return to a locker and open it with your combination, the lock resets. You will need to create a new combination to use the locker again.

If library staff need to open the locker, your combination will be deleted.
