What is EndNote?

EndNote is a citation management software that makes it easier to format and organize bibliographies. Here are some things you can do:

  • Format citations in various citation styles (e.g, APA 6th)
  • Export citations from databases (e.g., PubMed)
  • Insert citations and compile bibliography in Microsoft Word

EndNote Web is the online counterpart to the desktop version. Here are some things you can do:

  • Access your library from any computer with Internet access
  • Share citations with others
  • Transfer references between the web and desktop library
