Building Collections in the Sherrod Library

Beginning in late 2024, the Sherrod library launched an effort to better uplift and represent Appalachia within it's print collections. This effort, formally titled, "the Appalachian Book Initiative," has come together with a digital collection and the ongoing intake of new books authored by Appalachians, about Appalachia.
