The mission of Tenn-Share is to help Tennessee libraries to deliver efficient, effective library services through group purchasing power and innovative resource sharing projects. it was established in 1992. Tennessee libraries, museums, archives and information agencies--rather than individuals employed by or sharing an interest in these entities--are eligible to become members of Tenn-Share. Currently, over 600 Tennessee libraries, museums, archives and information agencies of all types and sizes belong to Tenn-Share. List of members.
The Sherrod Library of ETSU has been a fedral (U.S) selective depository for the 1st Congressional District of Tennessee since 1942, although some of our materials pre-datethis time. Sherrod library have non-circulating Cooperative Law Collection which contains approximately 16,000 volumes, includes codes (federal, state, local) digests, reporters and citators, legal encyclopedias, specialized treatises and related legal reference materials. Among the treatises are various looseleaf services which report the activity of congressional legislation and federal court cases on a weekly/bi-weekly basis.
