Aligned both to ACRL Information Literacy and Common Core English Language Arts standards, Research Companion provides a framework and foundation for information literacy instruction. More than 80 short videos are organized into nine Learning Modules that answer questions like "How do I choose a topic?" "Where do I find information?" and "How do I evaluate sources?" Different kinds of "pre" and "post" assessment questions make the viewing experience more interactive, while allowing educators to measure studentsÃ¢ÂÂ learning and identify gaps in their understanding.

The majority of the videos show therapists actually conducting therapy and demonstrating clinical skills, along with pre- and post-session discussion. Transcripts of all videos are included and the ability to make clips is available.

Video collection of 37 Shakespeare plays produced by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). Viewers may watch the entire play or clips of each act. Licensed by the Regents Online Campus Collaborative (ROCC) of the Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR).
Theatre in Video This link opens in a new window
Theatre in Video contains hundreds of videos, including documentaries and definitive performances of the worldÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ¢s most important plays. From celebrated productions of Shakespeare to rare, in-depth footage of the work of Samuel Beckett, the collection covers a wide range of 20th century theatre history. Interviews with directors, designers, writers, and actors, along with excerpts of live performances deliver an authentic, behind-the-scenes look at hundreds of productions.

Streaming Audio - Music

DVD's

The DVD collection is located in the 2nd floor stack between the oversize book collection and the start of the regular circulating books.

Cases are arranged by Library of Congress call number.

Music CDs

Music recordings on CD and online, and scores in print and online, support programs in classical and jazz music performance and music education. CD recordings of bluegrass music and sound recordings in a variety of formats in the Archives of Appalachia support the program in Bluegrass, Old Time, and Country Music.

Sherrod Library Music CDs are located in the 2nd floor book stacks area just inside the entrance to the left. Music CDs are arranged by Library of Congress call number.

Access and Use

Media in all formats can be used in the library by current ETSU students, faculty, and staff and Library Guest cardholders.
Online access outside the library is limited to current ETSU.faculty, staff, students, and faculty emeriti.
CDs and DVDs can be borrowed by anyone with a valid ETSU ID or library borrower's card (Library Guest, TALC, Reciprocal Borrower).
