
Lab computers are located on the
- first floor - adjacent to the Silvers Reading Area
- second floor - Study Space & Computer Lab
- third floor - Government Information, Law and Maps.
You can use lab computers if you
- are a current ETSU student, faculty, faculty emeritus, staff or Library Guest cardholder and
- have an ETSU user account.
Lab computers are maintained and supported by Information Technology Services (ITS). Contact the ITS Help Desk for computer support, such as help with logging in or using installed software.

The following software is installed on all lab computers located in Sherrod Library:
Access and Use
- Current ETSU students, faculty, faculty emeriti, staff and Library Guest cardholders may use Sherrod Library lab computers.
- An ETSU user account is required in order to log in. Campus visitors may purchase a Sherrod Library Guest card, which includes a user account, at the Ask Us desk located on the first floor.
- Visit ITS Help Desk: Security - Passwords for help with (re)setting your account password.
- There is no enforced time limit on computer use.
- By logging in, you agree to comply with the ITS Code of Ethics. Lab computers are ETSU property. Individuals found engaging in unlawful activities will be asked to leave the library.
