About

The Student Advisory Council is a longstanding tradition in the Sherrod Library. This group invites students to get involved in the operational affairs of the library, allowing them, as stakeholders through their library fee, to have a say in what that money is spent on. This group is open to undergraduate and graduate students, and meets once a month on a schedule determined with the group's input before the beginning of each semester. Game Night

In 2023, the Sherrod Student Advisory Council suggested the library run a game night. Since then, we have hosted monthly gatherings for students to play video or board games. These occur in the Library's Innovation Commons from 5-7:30. Fall 2025's game nights will occur on:

  • August 28
  • September 17
  • October 29
  • November 19
