The requestor, or representative of the requestor, must be identified and present in Quillen during the entire event to serve as liaison with the Sherrod building staff.
The Quillen Conference Room and Gallery area is open for reservations between 8:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. Monday – Friday and between 9:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. Saturday – Sunday. During alternative schedule periods, The Quillen Conference Room and Gallery is open for reservations between 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m Monday – Friday. The space is not reservable after hours, except under special circumstances approved by library administration.
Due to the Administration office closing at 4:30 p.m., any after hours reservations must be submitted within 24-48 hours before the event so staffing can be arranged.
The Quillen Conference Room and Gallery cannot be reserved for more than two full days in succession.
The fourth floor, where the room is located, is a designated silent study area. All events must be contained within the Quillen Conference Room and Gallery area.
All food service in the Quillen Conference Room and Gallery is the responsibility of the requester. Library administration does not arrange for, or provide, catering services. Intent to have food services present must be communicated when submitting your room reservation request.
The Quillen Conference Room and Gallery area must be cleaned and returned to its original arrangement immediately following the event. The sponsoring organization will be responsible for the condition of the room during the time assigned.
