Library Guests

Area residents and visitors may obtain access to library resources while in the Sherrod Library by purchasing a Sherrod Library Guest card. Library Guest Cards are only available for purchase using debit or credit card only, no cash sales, Monday - Friday between 8am - 6pm. The card

• costs $51 per year, equal to the library fee that an ETSU student would pay for Fall, Spring, and Summer terms.
• Hours of use: Regular Service Hours.
• No overnight access to the building outside of regular Service Hours.
• Users limited to five (5) items at a time on account.
• is valid for one year from date of purchase.
• is renewable for one year on payment of annual fee and verification of address and contact information.
• must be purchased or renewed in person at the Sherrod Library Ask Us desk. A current driver's license is required for identification.
• Applicant must be 18+ years old and/or a high school graduate.

Sherrod Library Guest cardholders agree to:

• abide by all university policies for resource use and personal conduct.
• use their Sherrod Library Guest email account for correspondence with the library and university. 
• return the card to Sherrod Library if requested to do so. A Sherrod Library Guest card is the property of the ETSU Sherrod Library.

Library Guest cardholders can:

• log on to the ETSU WiFi network and any library lab computer with their Library Guest username and password
• LIMITED ACCESS to online library resources while in Sherrod Library

Library Guest cardholders are not allowed to

• access ETSU online resources from off campus or
• request interlibrary loan service from the ETSU Libraries or
• access ETSU printers/copiers.
