What is a Database?
A database is a collection of searchable information. In terms of the library, it is the place to search for articles from a variety of journals, magazines or newspapers, various media types, and, of course, books. Databases allow you to search using keywords or phrases and have filters that allow you to narrow your search based on author, date, subject, and much more.
