How can I use the 3D Scanners in the Studio?

Use of the 3D scanners is a mediated service. We require advance reservations to ensure our staff is available to assist.
Our staff will assist in the scanning of the object to ensure a quality scan. We can also help touch up the object in Maya, our 3D modeling software.
Reservations can be made online up to 14 days in advance.
We prioritize academic and research use of the Studio and its services. Personal projects may be limited based on time, material, and equipment availability.

There is no cost for this service.
Plan to spend at least 1 hour at the Studio during your appointment.
If you wish to export the file for your own use, please bring a USB storage device.
