LGBTQIA+ Library Resources

In this guide you will discover information about our collections and spaces relating to LGBTQIA+ library resources.

Community Support

You may see the Safe Zone sign on offices throughout the library.   Faculty and staff who have undergone ETSU Safe Zone training and signed the ETSU Safe Zone Pledge are identified by the ETSU Safe Zone symbol places in their office/on their office doors. A list of Safe Zone Allies can be found here. For more information about Safe Zone training visit the Office of Equity and Inclusion website.

The Dr. Patricia Robertson Pride Center provides programming, campus resources, and educational training for ETSU students, faculty, staff, and community members. On this website you will find resources and FAQ for gender and sexual minorities or anyone wishing to expand their knowledge and understanding in this top area. The Pride Center is located on the 2nd floor of the D.P. Culp Student Center and offers a space for gathering, programming, support and resources for LGBTQIA+ students, faculty, staff, and allies.

A list of Campus Resources including Gender Neutral Restrooms, LGBTQIA+ Organizations and on campus support for groups and individuals is available here.
