Computer Access

ETSU offers a wireless guest network called ETSU-Guest for visitors to the main campus and residence halls. To connect to the network, visitors can select ETSU-Guest in their mobile device’s Wi-Fi settings. Visitors can utilize library computers by inquiring about the purchase of a Library Guest card at the Ask Us Desk on the 1st floor of the building.

Use of Print Resources

Sherrod Library’s print collections are available to all users for in-house use.

Borrowing Privileges

Visitors who purchase a Library Guest card may borrow materials. Please see the Library Guest policy for additional details.

Use of Online Collections and Resources

Visitors to Sherrod Library using their own laptops and mobile devices may log in to the visitor wireless network (ETSU-Guest) to access email and the Internet.

If a Library Guest card is purchased, cardholders may obtain limited access to online library resources while in Sherrod Library. While in the library, patrons who possess a Library Guest card must be on a library lab computer and log in via the guest card username and password that is provided.

If you wish to make copies of our collection or print materials from lab computers, you may use the scanners located in service areas throughout the building and save the documents onto an external USB or e-mail the documents to yourself.
